Recipe for spicy homemade olive oil

We have not previously thought about how it would be convenient to pour oil on potatoes or vegetables and give them a piquant edge. It turned out to be very easy and simple — to make spicy homemade butter. This oil is useful when eating pizza, potatoes, vegetable salads, but just add a little to crusty bread and everything becomes tastier!

How to cook spicy olive oil at home

We will need salad olive oil, it is salad oil, and not for frying. Let’s also take a few different peppers: pink African, fragrant, black, green and hot chilli pepper a couple of pods. Previously, you can heat the dry peppers in a frying pan over low heat until the aroma appears. So peppers will reveal their taste in oil more.
Chilli pepper will be washed and wiped so that it is dry. Cut chilli pepper into round slices. Pour all the peppers with olive oil and leave to infuse in a dark place. Do not put this oil in the refrigerator, the oil will thicken and become white. This does not mean that it has deteriorated, it’s just that olive oil changes properties at low temperatures and slightly crystallizes. Once the oil has been infused for two weeks, filter it through a fine sieve and can be used in cooking.
