How to cook burger Juicy Lucy?

Juicy Lucy is a classic of American cuisine. It would seem that you can still come up with a loaf, sauce, minced meat… The peculiarity of this burger is that there is melted cheese inside the beef patty. A simple burger recipe! We take ground beef for our burger, divide it into parts, make small cutlets, it is convenient to make in a round metal shape. We put a layer of meat, cheese, and again a layer of meat. We close the edges and the delicious cutlet is ready. Next, we collect the burger and dig into this yummy! I think I’ll go make another one!

Juicy Lucy

Ingredients:

Garlic — 2 cloves
Ground beef — 300 grams
Worcestershire sauce — ½ teaspoon
Salt — 1 teaspoon
Ground black pepper — ¼ teaspoon
Pickled cucumber — 1 piece (100 grams)
Burger bun — 2 pieces
Processed American cheese — 4-6 slices

Directions:

1. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
2. Mix ground beef with garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce.
3. Cut the bun in half. Brown in a frying pan.
4. Cut the cucumber into slices.
5. Divide the minced meat into 4 parts.
6. Form 4 flat cutlets in a metal round shape (for convenience) or slightly smaller in size than the diameter of the bun.
7. Put one flat cutlet, on top of a slice of American cheese. The cheese should not go beyond the edges of the cutlet.
8. Put another cutlet on top. The edges are pressed together at two cutlets, it turns out one large cutlet with cheese inside.
9. Gently fry the cutlet on each side for 3-4 minutes until ready, but so that the cheese does not start to flow out.
10. Assemble the burger: put the cutlet on the bottom of the bun, then slices of pickled cucumber, cover with the top of the bun.
Serving: Perfect combination with stout
