Classic Chopped Italian Salad

Ingredients:

Red onion (small) — 2 onions
Chickpeas (canned) — 100 grams
Cherry tomatoes — 140 grams
Red bell pepper — 120 grams
Salami — 120 grams
Mozzarella (in rasol) — 120 grams
Fresh basil (purple) — 5 grams
Lettuce leaves (any) — 100 grams
Italian salad dressing — 4 tablespoons
Hot chili pepper (small, burning) — 3 pieces

Directions:

1. Peel and finely chop the onion.
2. Rinse the chickpeas. If you use fresh chickpeas, then a day before cooking it should be soaked in water and put in the refrigerator.
3. Cherry tomatoes cut into quarters.
4. Bulgarian red pepper is cut into cubes the size of a quarter of a tomato.
5. Cut the salami into cubes like pepper.
7. We cut fresh mozzarella in the same way as pepper.
8. Chop the basil leaves coarsely.
9. Mix lettuce leaves (lettuce, radicchio, etc.) in a separate bowl with 3 tablespoons of homemade Italian salad dressing. Wait 5 minutes.
10. Chop the hot pepper finely.
11. Mix all the ingredients.
12. Add another tablespoon of homemade Italian dressing and mix everything together.
