Margarita Cocktail Recipe

The Margarita cocktail comes from the country of Mexico. The history of the cocktail has several versions, but the composition is always the same. French liqueur Cointreau (you can replace “Triple-sec”), young silver tequila (the manufacturer is not important) and lime juice (or lemon). To create this wonderful cocktail, you need a shaker and ice. The perfect combination of the taste of tequila, the sweetness of orange liqueur, the sourness of lemon juice and salt crystals that enhance the overall taste.

Ingredients:

Ice
Lemon juice (lime juice) — 15 ml
White Tequila (or other young Tequila) — 35 ml
Cointreau liqueur — 20 ml

Directions:

1. Add ice and all the ingredients to the shaker.
2. Shake the shaker for 2-3 minutes.
3. Lubricate the edges of the glass with a slice of lime (lemon) and dip in a small amount of salt. Excess salt can be shaken off.
4. Pour the cocktail into a glass.
Serving: Serve with a slice of lime or just in a glass.
