Hello, gourmets! Today we are sharing a recipe for a unique recipe – tomato sauce for seafood! This sauce is suitable for vegetable salads, salads with shrimp, healthy salads with spinach and crispy Lettuce salad, in general, it will add piquancy almost everywhere.
The taste of this tomato sauce for seafood and greens has a bright sourness due to ripe fresh tomatoes, Dijon mustard (since it contains more vinegar than regular mustard) and white wine vinegar. The delicate creamy texture is given by a large amount of olive oil. And the color is simply gorgeous – a mixture of red tomatoes and mustard!
Tomato sauce for seafood
Ingredients for the sauce:
- Ripe tomatoes
- Dijon mustard
- Olive oil
- Salt
- White wine vinegar
Use only fresh and ripe tomatoes! We took tomatoes on a branch, they have a pronounced greenhouse aroma and taste. The seeds from the tomatoes are removed, otherwise the sauce will be too liquid and will begin to delaminate quite quickly. Mustard was taken from Dijon, it is not grainy and not vigorous “Russian”. Dijon has a creamy texture, less bright bitterness, but a more acidic acetic taste.
