Tamago Kake Gohan is a dish of Japanese cuisine. The name translates as “egg rice”. This is an ideal option for breakfast or lunch.

How to make Japanese rice?

The rice is boiled. Onions are finely cut diagonally. Avocado is cut into slices. Boiled rice is mixed with raw chicken egg. Tamarind paste is added. We put additional ingredients on top of the rice.

Ingredients:

Wild red rice — 100 grams
Green onion — 1 stalk
Tamarind paste — 2 teaspoons
Chicken eggs — 2 pieces
Sesame seeds white and black for decoration
Avocado — 2 pieces
Micro-greens (radish sprouts) — 2 tablespoons
Nori algae — 5 grams
Pickled ginger — 10-15 grams

Directions:

1. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package.
2. Add 1 egg to the boiled rice and mix thoroughly.
3. Add tamarind paste to the rice. Mix it up.
4. Cut the green onion diagonally.
5. Cut nori seaweed into thin strips.
6. Cut the avocado into slices.
7. Add avocado slices, nori seaweed, micro greens, green onions, ginger on top of rice.
8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Serving: Serve the dish immediately.
