Ingredients:

Garlic — 3 cloves
Wine vinegar — 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice — 1 piece
Olive oil — 1 tablespoon
Yogurt — 3 tablespoons
Oregano — 2 tablespoons
Salt and pepper — to taste
Chicken (thigh fillet) — 1 kg
Flour — 400 grams
Cucumber — 4 pieces
Red onion — ½ onion
Parsley — ½ bunch
Yeast — 8 grams
Sugar — 8 grams
Vegetable oil — 30 ml
Tomato — 2 pieces
Water – 230 ml

Directions:

1. Finely chop the garlic.
2. Marinade for chicken: In a deep bowl, mix garlic, wine vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, yogurt, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix all the ingredients.
3. Add the chicken to the marinade and forget about it for a while.
4. Dough for tortillas: in a large deep bowl, sift the flour, add salt, sugar, yeast and stir. Pour in warm (38-40 degrees) water and half the vegetable oil. Knead the dough. Add the remaining butter and knead for 7-10 minutes, until the dough has absorbed all the butter and is soft and pliable. Cover the dough with a clean towel and put it in a warm place for 1 hour.
5. Divide all the dough into 4 parts. Roll out the dough carefully in the shape of an oval measuring 20-25 cm.
6. Place on parchment paper for baking and send to the oven for 7 minutes. Make sure that the pitas do not start to crack or burn.
7. Fry the chicken in a hot pan until golden brown. Cut the chicken into slices.
8. Tzatziki: on a fine grater, rub the cucumber and squeeze out its juice as much as possible. In a bowl, put 1 ½ tablespoons of yogurt, the juice of half a lemon, salt and pepper to taste. Mix and add the cucumber. Mix again.
9. Cut tomatoes into small cubes.
10. Coarsely chop the parsley. Cut the onion into half rings.
11. In the pit, we make a hole on the side to make a pocket.
12. Fill the pita with meat, put Tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, parsley, onions. You can leave it like this, if you have enough filling, and you can repeat everything again.
