How to cook Tteokbokki?
Let’s go back to our recipe, it’s classic. The basis of the broth is water, dried anchovies and Wakame seaweed. Cook the broth for 15 minutes and remove the anchovies and seaweed. They will not be needed anymore, but they will give a taste to our dish.
Mix the spicy paste with sugar and pepper flakes. This is the spicy part for the dish.
Add rice cake (Garaetteok) to the broth. This is a traditional Korean rice cake of cylindrical shape. Do not forget about green onions.
