Cheesy Potato Croquettes

Cheesy Potato Croquettes Recipe

Cheesy Potato Croquettes is a dish of American cuisine. Croquettes are crispy potato balls stuffed with cheese and spring onions.

How to cook Croquettes?

We prepare potato dough. Boil part of the potatoes. We make mashed potatoes out of it. The remaining potatoes are three on a fine grater and squeeze out all the moisture. Mix the mashed potatoes with the rest of the potatoes. The dough is ready.

Filling for croquettes. Mix the cheese with finely chopped green onions. You can use any other ingredients.

In a small amount of dough, add the filling. We form round balls. Dip in flour, then in egg mixture, then in breadcrumbs.

Breadcrumbs can be made by yourself. How to make breadcrumbs: take dry white wheat bread. We put it in a kitchen towel. We fold the towel to cover the bread and knock on the towel with something hard. Here are the breadcrumbs and ready. It is easier to buy ready-made in the store.

Deep-fry the croquettes. No deep fryer? Take a deep saucepan with a thick bottom and pour oil so that the croquettes are at least half filled.
